Yes – we strive to be as confidential as possible. We are very aware of privacy and we perform all of our work professionally and discreetly.

Yes. This is one of our main services. We welcome enquiries from Solicitors, Executors, Accountants and members of the public dealing with all matters relating to estate administration and probate valuation of property or house contents for IHT calculations.

Yes, we deal with many clients who do not live in the UK. With the advent of VoIP technologies, and software such as Skype and FaceTime, the world has become more connected than ever before. We are happy to be your feet on the ground and take care of a clearance without you having to come to the UK.

Yes, we clear up after we work. In the case where a client requests more thorough or deeper cleaning, we are also able to take care of their needs.

No, we do not. It is important to us that we provide the best service that we can, we can only provide this by instructing and using our own contractors and overseeing the work.

Yes. After viewing the work that is to be undertaken, we provide a written quotation explaining all of the options and costs involved.

This is a service that we charge for. Charges are based on the time it takes to view and compile the valuation.

No. Quotations are always without cost or obligation.

Every situation is different, and every clearance job is unique. We are happy to provide a rough estimate over the phone or by email, but prefer to provide an accurate and detailed quotation AFTER we have visited the property.

Yes, we can quote to deliver your items. We then handle the whole process from start to finish.

We ensure that any confidential documents, photographs etc. we discover are saved and brought to the attention of the client.

Just as with any sensitive documents or photographs, any financial documents discovered are also saved and brought to the attention of the client.

No, we do not buy items from our clients. Part of our service to our clients is to identify items of value, and if required place them into auction for (and on behalf of) the client. This enables the client to realise the correct monies for the items.

Yes, we can provide storage both short term and long term. See our Services Page for more information.

Yes, we are able arrange shipping worldwide through a reputable shipping agent. W will pack and oversee the entire process from start to finish.

WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is a complementary directive outlining the treatment, recovery, recycling and disposal of electric and electronic equipment, and their packaging.

Yes, as much as possible. See our page on the environment to see how we plan & structure our recycling efforts.

Yes, we have always donated suitable items to Charitable Outlets as well as working directly for Registered Charities where we have provided both clearance and auction delivery services – helping local communities as well as national charities.
Will you smash up the items being cleared?2018-01-21T14:38:45+00:00

No! Every clearance job is done carefully and respectfully. There are some companies will smash up furniture on the drive to save time and save space in their vehicles.

If we need to dismantle a large piece of furniture (wardrobe, etc.) to safely remove it from the property we will consult you prior.

Is there anything you won’t remove?2018-01-21T14:38:45+00:00

We do not remove asbestos, chemicals, explosives or any hazardous chemicals. We will advise you if we find any while we are clearing the property, or point them out during the quotation.

Where do you dispose of the items?2018-01-21T14:38:46+00:00

We recycle as much as possible – what has to be disposed of is taken to Licensed Waste Disposal Sites. From there the items are further sorted and recycled into their core components. See our page on the environment to learn more.
